Christmas Lessons & Carols + Kids Nativity

Join us for one of the most joyful and beloved services of the year—Lessons & Carols and Kids Nativity. This family-friendly gathering is full of wonder, beauty, and celebration as we step into the story of Christ’s birth together.

Lessons & Carols is a treasured Anglican tradition that dates back to 1880. Through a series of Scripture readings (“lessons”) and accompanying carols, we trace the arc of God’s redemption—from the prophets’ long-awaited promises to the humble birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. This simple yet profound service invites us to hear again the mystery and hope of the Incarnation, proclaimed through both Word and song. Its beauty lies in its clarity: the story is told, light breaks into darkness, and the world listens again to the good news of great joy.

Adding to the delight of the evening is our Kids Nativity, lovingly led each year by the beloved Paula Mulvilhill. Our children have been practicing their roles with excitement and dedication, ready to bring the Christmas story to life in the most charming and heartfelt way. We are deeply grateful for Paula’s tireless work and the creativity she pours into this cherished tradition.
