When we read the Lessons, proclaim the Gospel, lead the Prayers of the People, celebrate, or serve as Deacon, how we communicate matters. It is not only about the words we speak, but how we speak them. Tone, pace, clarity, and voice inflection all help carry the meaning of the text and invite the congregation more fully into worship.
Join us for a special training with Dan Kassis, who will offer practical guidance and key pointers to help us grow in confidence and effectiveness when speaking before the congregation. This workshop is open to all who read, lead, or are interested in serving in these roles.
Sunday, March 8th, immediately following the service.
