Join us as we celebrate All Saints’ Sunday (Transferred) on Sunday, November 2nd at 10am, a feast that reminds us of the great communion of saints, those faithful believers who have gone before us and those who follow Christ today. All Saints’ Day, one of the principal feasts of the Church year, is a time to rejoice in the hope of resurrection and the unity we share as members of Christ’s Body across time and place.
From the earliest centuries, Christians have gathered on this day to honor the saints whose names are known and unknown, giving thanks for the light of their witness that continues to guide and inspire us. It is also a traditional occasion for baptisms, as we welcome new members into this same communion of faith. Baptism on All Saints’ Sunday beautifully expresses the truth that in Christ, we are joined not only to God but to the whole company of saints.
If you or your child would like to be baptized on All Saints’ Sunday, please reach out to Fr. Art or Mthr. Suzie for more information.
