Join us for our cherished tradition of the St. Francis of Assisi Animal Blessing! On Sunday, October 5 at 2pm, bring your beloved pets—whether they walk, hop, fly, or swim—for a special blessing in honor of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and creation.
St. Francis of Assisi, who lived in the 12th and 13th centuries, is remembered for his deep love of God’s creation and his compassion toward all living creatures. His life reminds us that every part of creation reflects God’s care and deserves our gratitude and respect.
By blessing our animals, we not only celebrate the joy and companionship they bring into our lives but also recognize our responsibility to treat them with kindness, dignity, and love.
We look forward to gathering as a community to lift up our pets and give thanks for the many ways they enrich our daily lives.
