Confirmation refers to the rite in which, after a believer has been baptized, they make a mature commitment to their faith. It represents a deepening and strengthening in the Christian life. Confirmation is closely connected to Baptism. Where they differ is Baptism highlights one's birth into the body of Christ, Confirmation stresses the growth.
During this class, we will explore the formative and rooted elements of our faith and our Anglican tradition, learn more about the process of Confirmation, and have a space to reflect and ask questions.
If you are desiring to be confirmed by the Bishop, which will take place on Sunday, June 9th, this class is necessary! Please make sure to register at the link below.
We will meet on Saturday, May 4th at 10 AM in the sanctuary. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Fr. Austin.
