We are excited share of an opportunity to volunteer at this year’s Kindling Arts Festival. Jackie Tidwell, President of the Board of Directors, is tapping our community for help. This is a way to support local artists as they give voice to their stories, explore themes of and spark conversations about social justice, and create beauty for our city.

Festival dates are July 28-31, 2022, happening in various local theaters around Nashville. All volunteers that work a 4-hour shift will receive one complimentary ticket to a Festival event of your choice. (And for each 4-hour shift you work, you'll get another ticket!). A virtual volunteer orientation session for the Festival will be held on Tuesday, July 19th at 7 PM.

Never heard of Kindling Arts? It is Nashville’s radically unique independent arts incubator. Founded in 2018, this festival develops innovative new works by Nashville’s experimental artists, empowering diverse creators to explore challenging ideas in a multidisciplinary context. With an emphasis on the artist-centered process, the Kindling Arts Festival is a multi-day annual event that showcases interdisciplinary collaborations in surprising spaces.
