St. Francis of Assisi is known as the patron saint of animals and nature. It became a practice of the Church to host special services to bless animals on his feast day of October 4th. As we celebrate the feast of St. Francis, we will be hosting a special animal blessing on October 2nd at the home of Amy and Jake Whipp.
